Background: Minato was one of the few who still followed the way of the shinobi. He had mastered several styles of martial arts and was deemed " The last true ninja" by those he fought. Minato worked for the law as a special agent. His uncany ability to be stealthy, aquiring information, and his effectivness in straightforward combat got him a high rank in the law department after a while. Although he was recognized as a hero amongst the people he didnt care about the fame. He was just satisfied with putting a stop to crime and evil. One day a massive gang riot broke out and Minato was assigned to put an end to it. Minato had few problems with the gangs themselves but his last moments came when a lone gangbanger was preparing to shoot a mother and her child. Minato,not thinking twice, took down the criminal but ended up taking the bullet to the heart.
After death: Minato awoke in a place that looked extremely outdated. He decided to ask around only to find out that he was dead and in some place called the soul society. Knowing that death is irreversible Minato decided to make the best of his new " life."
